Juvenile Justice Jeopardy™ teaches youth how to interact with officers, as well as the short and long term legal consequences of their actions with officers and peers. Derived from the popular TV game show, Juvenile Justice Jeopardy™ is a fun, interactive way for youth to explore what they think they know, to correct their misconceptions, and to discover important facts about the legal system.
Trauma Jeopardy™ for youth is an interactive, internet-based game modeled after SFY’s successful Juvenile Justice Jeopardy™ game. The game format engages youth by asking questions which elicit young people’s understanding and learning about trauma, how it may be triggered in themselves and others, and, most critically, how to recognize and manage distress through adaptive coping skills.
SFY has developed tools to help youth interact more safely with law enforcement. Our Think About It First! cards teach youth about the potential consequences of arrest and involvement in the juvenile justice system. SFY’s Be Smart with Police pamphlet educates youth about how to behave when interacting with police officers.
