Boston native Amina, received her B.S. in accounting at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. She is currently pursuing her Certified Financial Planner (CFP) accreditation through Boston University. Amina has held the role of Controller, Grants and Finance Manager, and Director of Finance for multiple nonprofits throughout Massachusetts. Amina has served the greater mission of the nonprofit world by providing financial direction and strategy for grassroots organizations.
Amina enjoys channeling her talents as a finance professional to help people from various backgrounds who need financial assistance, make better financial decisions. Her desire to help people achieve financial freedom stems all the way back to her days as a high school student, when she first became a certified tax preparer and volunteered her time preparing taxes for low-income residents in her neighborhood. To this day, Amina continues to seek ways to stay active in her community. She serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the International Language Training Center (ILTC), and volunteers during tax season as a tax preparer for Urban Edge through its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) site.
When Amina is not busy helping others, she enjoys spending time with her eight year old son and participating in his school’s social events.
